French Buttercream Cookies

Ingredients

Powdered sugar

Baking soda

tsp
Cream of tartar

tsp
Salt

Butter
softened

Egg

tsp
Vanilla

Flour
Instructions
Mix all ingredients well, chill dough for 15-30 minutes before rolling into small balls.
Place rolled dough onto cookie sheets lined with parchment paper and flatten with a fork. Sprinkle with colored sugars.
Bake at 350° for 5-8 minutes until set but not brown.
Let cookies stand on baking sheet for a minute before moving to wire racks to cool.
