2020 Jersey Jug Champion Named
Judge Terri Packard, Boonsboro, Md., and her consultant, Richard Caverly, Benton, Maine, placed the 2020 National Jersey Jug Futurity on November 8. There were 26 entries shown in this year’s competition.
The winner’s wreath of flowers was presented to Ratliff Irwin Vancy-ET. Exhibited by Ron and Christy Ratliff, Trustees, Garnett, Kan., was also named Best Udder of the class. “Vancy” was also named Best Bred and Owned individual.
Ratliff Ricochet Vegas was named the Reserve Winner of the 2020 National Jersey Jug Futurity. Ron and Christy Ratliff are her owners as well.
The first place junior entry was exhibited by Alleah Anderson, Cumberland, Wis.. Her entry, Meadowridge Vitality Strawberry, went on to place ninth in the class.
The top GJPI individual in the class was entry number 33, Ky-Hi Oliver Joyfull-P-ET. “Joyfull” was exhibited by Kylie Lehr, Canastota, N.Y., and she has a GJPI of +12.
