Milk-n-More Farms and Harvesting LLC use the AJCA’s REAP and JerseyTag programs to help with running their farm. They focus on producing high-quality milk by selecting for positive milk and components, along with the udder and foot and leg composite. Influential sires in this herd have been Forest Glen Avery Action, Tour Vue Prime Tequila-ET, Vindication, and SHF Centurian Sultan are all lines that deserve recognition. The farm focuses on creating a solid foundation for their cow families which leads to stronger branches. As for their human family, they are just as important.

The family’s nieces, Addison and Hailey Fischer, are involved with the farm’s show animals. The farm also sees their employees as family members. Their employees are responsible for keeping everything together to ensure team goals are met. The children in the family, Kaila and Colin, have both had animals be successful in the show ring and production contests. Both have also been winners of the National Jersey Youth Achievement Contest in 2017 and 2020.

They are learning the advantages and characteristics that make other breeds different than Jerseys. As the next generation looks to come home, they are starting to at what direction they should take the business. It is important to them to see the farm continue onto the next generation. This farm puts a clear importance to the family element, which is what makes them special.

In addition to their cattle, the family also runs a cropping business. They have 20,000 acres of hay and 11,000 acres of corn. They also have an additional 750 acres and 800 acres that they rent out.
