Getting to Know Alleah Anderson and Fae

Meadowridge Triple Crown Fae exhibited by Alleah Anderson of Cumberland, Wis., was named Reserve Grand Champion and Senior Champion of The All American Junior show in Louisville, Ky., on November 6, 2021.

Alleah is the 18-year-old daughter of Tamala and Jamie Anderson. Granddaughter of Roger and Darice Riebe of Meadowridge Jerseys. No stranger to The All American junior show, she has won 13 All American, nine Reserve All American, two Junior Champion, and one Reserve Junior Champion titles. Alleah has also found success in the International Junior Jersey Show in Madison, Wis.

“Fae“ is a Senior three-year-old out of Meadowridge Mason Faith and sired by Nabholz Duckett Triple Crown.

Jersey Journal caught up with Alleah to talk about her honors.

How long has “Fae” been your junior project?

“Fae” has only been showing for one year.

How did it feel to be in the Grand Champion drive?

Being a part of the Grand Champion drive with “Fae” was such an amazing feeling that is so hard to describe. As the judges were looking at “Fae”, I couldn’t help but feel accomplished. Not only because I was lined up side-by-side with some of the best Jerseys in America, but because I felt honored to be a part of the incredible journey my grandparents started many years ago. “Fae” is one of the best Jerseys in my grandparents’ string. Without my grandparents, I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to be a part of the Grand Champion drive with her. I’m beyond grateful. 

What is your favorite memory with Fae before the week of the All American?

One of my favorite memories with “Fae” is when I was at the Wisconsin State Fair and took a nap in the pack with her for an hour. She cuddled up to me and laid her head in my lap the entire time.
