Select Sires Member Cooperative Scholarship 2024-2025
Select Sires Member Cooperative is offering a $40,000 scholarship. Those who are from a member-owner family currently doing business with Select Sires Member Cooperative, are enrolled in a two- to four- year college or university, able to show proof of this enrollment, and residing in Select Sires Member Cooperative's 27-state territory can apply. Applicants must send an application, written essay, video, transcripts, and a headshot. The deadline to apply is June 10, 2024 and the winner will be announced on July 31, 2024. American Dairy Association Northeast
The ADA Northeast currently has three scholarships advertised on their website. All applications will open in the Fall of 2023.
Scholarships & Grants | American Dairy Association NE
- The Dawn Houppert Memorial scholarship will be awarded to a former dairy princess or dairy ambassador from New York. The winner must also have completed one year of post-secondary, and the applicants interest will also be considered.
- The Leo Briggs Memorial scholarship will also be rewarded to a student who has completed one year of post-secondary school and shows leadership in dairy promotion.
- The Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program- 2022 Dairy Product Marketing Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship open to students going into their sophomore, junior or senior year of post-secondary school. These students must also be attending a school in Pennsylvania, or be a resident of the state.

American Jersey Cattle Association
The AJCA's scholarship program supports recipients enrolled in post-secondary institutions and on-farm internships. The AJCA scholarship website now has 15 scholarships ranging from $350-5,000 or hands-on experience with an internship opportunity. Applications open May 1, and will close July 1.

Central Star
This scholarship is awarded to seven students who are currently studying in a agriculture-related field, or who are high school seniors planning to do so. The applicant's parents must also be a stockowner of CentralStar Cooperative. The deadline to apply is June 1, 2023.

Dairy Leaders of Tomorrow
The first criteria for this scholarship is to have completed and passed the Introductory to Dairy course of one of the Dairy Tomorrow certification exams and its associated course work by June 1, 2023. Applicants must also be a graduating high school senior. Winners will be based on completion of the above, academic performance, commitment to the dairy industry, leadership, character, and integrity.

Dairy Shrine
Dairy Shrine is searching for applicants to apply to their annual scholarship program. There are now 11 scholarships. It is important to note that a student may only be awarded the same scholarship once. Applications open March 1, and close April 15.

Farm Credit East
Farm Credit East has a Diversity Scholarship open for applicants. In order to be considered, students must have a plan to pursue a career in agriculture, forestry, commercial fishing or any other related field. Applicants must also reside within a state that is served by Farm Credit East: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. The deadline to apply will be April 3, 2023.

GENEX
Every year at least four $1,000 scholarships are awarded to students who have an affiliation with a GENEX cooperative member. This means the student must play a role on the member's dairy or ranch. Applications must be mailed in to the address found on the cover sheet by March 31, 2023.

Midwest Dairy
Midwest Dairy has scholarships with varying deadlines and eligibility depending on your state or region. States with scholarships include: Minnesota, MoKan, Ozarks, and South Dakota. Additional scholarships with Midwest Dairy include the NDB Scholarship program and the National Dairy Shrine Scholarship.

National Mastitis Council Scholars Program
Graduate students with an interest in mastitis, udder health, and milk quality have the opportunity to attend the National Mastitis Council 63rd Annual Meeting, January 29-Febuary 1, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. Four travel scholarships will be granted with at least two of which go towards students outside of the United States and Canada. Applications are due July 31, 2023 and results are sent on August 31, 2023.

National Milk Producers Federation
This is a scholarship open to graduate students, those who are in a Master's or Ph.D. program, who are studying a dairy related field. In order to be considered applicants must fill out the application form, include a short research summary, two letters of recommendation, and an up-to-date resume. These documents are to be emailed no later than April 14,2023.

Undeniably Dairy
eleven $2,500 scholarships are awarded annually to undergraduate students ranking sophomore to senior. Along with these eleven recipients, one$3,500 scholarship is awarded through the James H. Loper Jr Memorial Scholarship. Applicants will be evaluated based on academic performance, course study, commitment to the dairy industry, extra-curricular involvement, and leadership ability. Applications are to submitted by May 12, 2023.
