2019 Jersey Jug Champion Exhibited by Leach and Chupp Families

Judge Phillip Topp, Botkins, Ohio, and his consultant, Joe Price, Martinton, Ill., placed the 2019 National Jersey Jug Futurity on November 10. There were 31 entries shown in this year’s competition.

The winner’s wreath of flowers was presented to Page-Crest Virtuoso 148 {5}. Exhibited by Justin, Daniel, Neveah, Emmet and Tye Chupp and Erin and Sophie Leach, Inola, Okla., “Virtuoso 148 {5}” was also named Best Udder of the class.

KCJF Tequila Sancia was named the Reserve Winner of the 2019 National Jersey Jug Futurity. Keightley & Core, Jackson Powers and Frank and Diane Borba of Salvisa, Ky., are her owners. She was also named Best Bred and Owned individual.

The first place junior entry was exhibited by Kylie Nickels, Watertown, Wis. Her entry, Charlyn Tequila Eclipse, went on to place fifth in the class.

   6. Cowbell Hired Gun Flilp Flop, Christine Rozler, Potsdam, N.Y.
