Sweet Potato Casserole


This sweet potato casserole recipe will help make your home smell like Thanksgiving all year! This is a great dish to serve at special family gatherings as a treat or to spoil your family one evening. A Billman family favorite, this recipe is especially appreciated when using rich Jersey butter and milk to cook!

Sweet Potato Casserole

  • 4 cups Mashed sweet potatoes
  • ½ cup White sugar
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ½ tsp Vanilla
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 stick Melted butter
  • ½ cup Milk


  • ½ cup Flour
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Chopped nuts


  • Put sweet potatoes and other ingredients in baking dish.
  • Mix together the topping and sprinkle over potatoes.
  • Top with pats (? ask Kim) of butter
  • Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
